The UBC Medical Alumni Association’s (MAA) main purposes are to organize and foster academic and social activities for the medical alumni, and to provide financial support for medical students’ activities throughout their four years at UBC and at all distributed sites.
Starting on November 1, 2023, all 8000+ graduates of the UBC Faculty of Medicine MD program and current and past learners in the UBC Post Graduate Medical Education (or Medical Residency) program are automatically members of the the UBC MAA.
Make a tax-deductible donation to the new UBC Medical Alumni Community Fund so that we can build a strong, thriving community that will support future generations of UBC doctors and medical students.

UBC MAA Membership FAQ

The UBC Medical Alumni Association will no longer be collecting annual membership fees from residents and alumni. Everyone is a member!
The UBC Medical Student & Alumni Centre (MSAC) Vancouver is a social and recreational facility for UBC medical students, residents, and alumni to foster connections and build a vibrant UBC medical community.
