Yoga in the Courtyard

Unlock your inner Yogi live from the UBC Medical Student Alumni Centre (MSAC) or online from home at Yoga in the Courtyard on Saturday, August 17th with special door prizes! This session will be catered to medical doctors, students, and residents, and focuses on strategies for stress management. Information regarding how to access a recording of the session will be sent to all registrants after the event.

Laura Best is a 2nd year medical student at the University of British Columbia and a certified yoga teacher with over 300 hours of training. Forever a student, she has used her knowledge of mindful movement to support students, volunteers and charities while obtaining her PhD in Toronto, and now, during her medical training. She is passionate about how movement and mindfulness can support mental health and wellbeing, especially for those who live their lives in service to their communities.
