His outside interests include travel, SUP, running, scuba diving, skiing and having spirited debates with his wife and two children.

Session 2: David Kincade "Coronary Artery Disease - 30 years of Observations and Insights"

Joined the illustrious UBC 94 class as a young and immature 20 year old Alberta farm boy. Has developed into a full grown General Internist practicing in Penticton with a special interest in cardiac risk reduction, cardiac rehab and valvular heart disease. Takes great pride in being a mentor to generations of young UBC trainees, considers himself kind of a " health care concierge  " . An amateur bon vivant and foodie with more interests than time currently lives in Naramata wine country with wife Michelle of 26 years and a dad to four great kids.

Session 3: Aaron Davison "Notes from the North; A City Doc Goes to the Arctic"

After residency Aaron worked at the Very Great Hospital, before moving on to Royal Columbian Hospital for the last 25 years.  However when Covid hit and the stores of ivermectin and bleach got low, he started to help out in the smaller communities ultimately becoming a Locum throughout the arctic including being one of the last docs to leave Yellowknife as the fires evacuated the city last year. He continues to work at Royal Columbian in the emergency and expensive care unit, as well as Squamish general hospital. And then when the kids get expensive flies his little plane to the smaller hospitals of the Sunshine Coast and continues to Locum in the north.

Session 4: Sanjay Parikh "Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulator for Sleep Apnea"

Sanjay Parikh is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Seattle Children's Hospital and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Washington.   Dr. Parikh attended medical school at the University of British Columbia (hoorah!) and then trained in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Toronto.
